This paper focuses on new mechanisms for the timely registration of births and deaths in Côte d'Ivoire. Through the practical case of the Nawa people's region in the southwest of the country, this socio-anthropological study that was carried out in 2018 aims to test the social significance of this technological innovation in the civil registration system in general, and in particular, the birth and death dimension.
